Since returning in early 2021, Swedish metalcore outfit Aviana have tackled the music world led solely by vocalist Joel Holmqvist, enhancing their output and scope despite scaling down in leadership.
After the departure of his former band members, Holmqvist elected to make Aviana more of a solo project with hired assassins in order to streamline the band’s potential and have it derived from the one sole focal point.
The results have vindicated that decision, with their recently released album Corporation storming up the global charts and entrenching the name Aviana back on the lips of the music scene.
To celebrate, Aviana have joined Australian metal outfit Earth Caller on the Renormalization tour which kicked off last night in Brisbane before going through Sydney, Newcastle, Adelaide and Melbourne over the next week.
