The Eternal – When The Circle Of Light Begins To Fade

Share This:

Melbourne band The Eternal have been wowing the world with their own brand of doom inspired metal since 2005 saw their The Sombre Light Of Isolation capture the attention of music fans right around the world (and one particular record label in Finland).

Now The Eternal deliver When The Circle Of Light Begins To Fade, an album so good that you can’t help but fall in love with the first time you give it a listen especially if you love the sound that bands like the Blue Oyster Cult and HIM have been producing over the years. While many bands have attempted it over the years this is an album that actually does blur the lines between rock and metal.

Tracks such as Motionless, Divided We Fall, A Quiet Death Of The Sun and Dark Day Coming reveal Brad Cook and Mark Kelson as some of the most talented musicians going around while the keys work of the legendary Martin Curtis-Powell, who has learnt his trade with the likes of Cradle Of Filth, My Dying Bride and Anathema, lifts this album to a whole new level.

When The Circle Of Light Begins To Fade is a terrific album that is just going to gain The Eternal even more fans right around the world. Its great rock sound and music maturity makes this one of the better albums of 2013.
