Share This:

Block out the cal for Saturday 9 and Sunday 10 September and get hopped up for the seventh annual Crafted Beer Festival, held at Kurrawa Park Broadbeach.

The 2023 edition is frothier than ever, where, in a pitcher-esque setting, you can experience 400+ brews including exclusive Crafted Beer Festival brews and limited release beers, from 50+ breweries across Australia and New Zealand. Like to keep your hop-tions open? Cider, seltzers, ginger beers, and non-alc beers, along with wine and select spirits, will be available to swill at your will. The 2023 edition of Crafted Beer Festival is gonna be lager than life.

There are plenty of non-beery options with Granddad Jack’s Craft Distillery huge two-storey vintage bar parked on-site, serving up cocktails and craft spirits, with whiskey-tasting sessions held on the Sunday. Whiskey not your thang? We got you! Carafe Wines will be pouring premium wines on tap from Australia’s best wine regions with a selection of perfectly paired cheeses.

Playing us through to last swigs on Saturday will be sweaty Sydney rock band Polish Club, with a swag of Brissie-bands spread throughout the day including Ska soul-splosion band Fat Picnic, femme-punk band Being Jane Lane, and indie-rock band The Dandys.

Sunday will be well and truly brought home by no other than the Gold Coast’s finest electro-world music act Tijuana Cartel, with dub-reggae-psych-rock Brissie band Kurilpa Reach, rock’n’roll Bonny Hills boys Nana Klumpp, and Byron based indie-rockers The Colliflowers soundtracking the rest of your Sunday sesh. Beatniks DJs will be spinning tracks both days and in true crackin’ Crafted fashion, there are plenty more acts yet to be revealed.
