Plans are starting to be put in place by Ultimate Music Cruises, the folks behind the largest floating music festivals, 70000 Tons of Metal and last year’s Barge to Hell as they start to organise their next voyage.

Set to sail for their fourth 70K voyage, passengers, affectionately dubbed “survivors” who is anyone that have previously sailed any one of the events so far, are getting their promised chance to get discount cabins from early April.

During press conferences held on board the last two cruises, organiser Andy Piller announced a loyalty program for any upcoming cruises where returning passengers would be eligible for discounts on cabin purchases.

The first of these will be the Gold Veterans, meaning anyone that has sailed on a minimum of 3 previous UMC events will be able to start purchasing from Monday 1st April at 5 pm.

Early bookings for all other survivors who are made up of anyone who has boarded at least 1 UMC event get their chance on Wednesday April 3rd from 12pm.

General sales for everyone else will be available from Monday 8th April from 5 pm
(take note all dates and times are in U.S EST time zones).

Survivors will start to receive their promo codes for the early bookings this weekend.

Attendees will also have the chance to vote for next year’s destination which has so far taken to the seas of Mexico, the Cayman Islands and this year’s event sailing to the Turks and Caicos Islands. The inaugural Barge to Hell in December sailed to Nassau in the Bahamas.

UMC have also announced that the 2014 70K cruise will be the last time they use the Majesty of the Seas luxury liner as Royal Caribbean Cruises, the ship’s owner, will be retiring her.

All 3 previous 70K cruises have sold out and Barge to Hell, rumoured for September 2014 sold moderately well.
