SUGAR SPINE To Release New Track ‘Emerald’ On September 1

Aussie-grown, Dutch-based metalcore beasts Sugar Spine will release the title track off their debut full-length album Emerald on September 1. The album is set to be announced at the same time.

This comes off the back of two wildly successful singles, Hisashi and Pseudo Panther. Both included in the upcoming album, Hisashi featured the intense growls of Andreas Bjulver from Cabal and garnered over 10,000 streams on Spotify alone in less than a month.

Pseudo Panther continued the hype, ultimately landing on Spotify’s premier All New Metal playlist, as well as KNOTFEST’s Pulse of the Maggots playlist.

Regarding the title track, vocalist and founding member Josh Muncke explains “Emerald laments and celebrates the way that we carry our love and heartbreak with us our entire lives. The way our relationships, good and bad, shape us into the identities we give to the world is a powerful thing, which is as much a gift as it can be a curse.”

Emerald will be released on September 1, but in the meantime check out previous single Hisashi.
