During the Covid lockdown Steve Creep connected with old-time friend Tom Shemer of Montreal’s rising talent The Damn Truth. It was Tom who encouraged Steve to record his first solo record, with Tom serving as producer and engineer. The result was a four-song EP with Steve performing all instruments and vocals.
Fast forward a couple of years and the project has expanded to become Steve Creep and The Wildcards. Combining their love of classic 1970s guitar fuelled rock with punk undertones, Steve Creep and The Wildcards make inroads with their debut single Wind Me Up and have carried that momentum through several singles, culminating in Revolution Radio, which you can listen to below.
