Spicing Things Up with JINJER

Jinjer are finally bringing their live show to Australia, with bass player Eugene Kostyuk having a chat with HEAVY prior to releasing Macro in October.

“We are stoked about the Australian tour”! he enthused. “Honestly, I cannot wait for next March when we finally come and play for our fans because as far as I know there are a lot of Jinjer fans and finally, finally, after all of these years they will have a chance to check us out live”.

Being their first visit to this country, Eugene says that Jinjer will be coming with a point to prove.

“Even though we are releasing a new album and most of the set will be from that, just because of the fact that we’re coming to Australia for the first time I think we must represent all stages of Jinjer, so definitely we will play a few song from all of the albums but most of the set will be Macro. It’s gonna be super fun and exciting”.

In the full interview Eugene discusses Macro in greater detail, the song structures on the album, writing songs to compliment Tatiana’s vocal range, it’s musical direction, Jinjer’s phenomenal recent success and the long journey to get there, his favourite Australian bands and more.
