Australian melodic tech-death band Snake Mountain have joined forces with Brisbane-based heavy electronic artist Monsters Around Us for an industrialised Halloween remix of their 2023 standalone single Veins.
Originally released as a blistering fusion of tech-death riffs and melodic hooks, The Dark Knight Inspired Veins has now been reconstructed and reimagined through Monsters Around Us’ signature dark electronic lens — twisting the track into a fever-dream of industrial aggression and cinematic horror atmosphere.
“I grew up loving industrial metal and always wanted to hear one of our own songs twisted and reinterpreted in that world,” says vocalist Nev Pearce. “I’ve known Colin for years and have always respected his work with other artists, so getting him to take Veins and drag it into his dark, cinematic electronic universe just made perfect sense.”
