sleepmakeswaves have announced supports for their ‘Great Northern’ Australian tour in May and June.
Gay Paris will join the tour on all shows except Port Macquarie, Canberra, Wollongong. Glass Ocean will support in Byron Bay, Brisbane, Canberra and Newcastle and Mowgli will open up in Canberra and Wollongong.
Sparkspitter will open shows in Adelaide and Perth. The lineup for SMW’s headline spot at Wollongong Unibar’s ‘Eclectic Electric’ Festival is now complete, with Sydney folk-prog troupe THE CROOKED FIDDLE BAND, local circus-metallers TROLDHAUGEN and alternative rock groups WITHOUT PARACHUTES, HARBOUR and JACOB all supporting.
Heavy progressive rock supergroup SERIOUS BEAK will also join the epic bill for the tour’s final show at the Metro Theatre in Sydney on June 13.
Finally, in addition to co-headlining shows in New Zealand, American doomgaze legends THIS WILL DESTROY YOU will join the bills in Sydney & Melbourne, in addition to their own national headline dates in June.
