New Zealand punk rock outfit Six Two’s have released their new single Cuts. The song finds a home in the 90’s Punk Rock sound familiar to those who know bands like No Use for a Name and The Offspring.
Cuts started life as a distorted chord progression, a melody, and the simple lyrical line “I am because we are” a concept rooted in the African philosophy of Ubuntu.
Formed in 2020 against a backdrop of nationwide pandemic lockdowns and shared punk-rock playlists, Mount Maunganui’s Six Two’s are putting the fun back into punk-rock.
