Floridian death metal masters have parted ways with drummer Kevin Talley. The new drummer will be Marco Pitruzella, who previously played in Brain Drill.
Talley, who joind the band in 2011 and had also played with Dying Fetus, Misery Index and Chimaira, was the reason why the band had to pull out of this year’s Soundwave shows due to injury caused when he fell off his dirt bike.
Releasing a statement, vocalist Chris Barnes tells “It was good working with Kevin Talley for the past couple of years, but we are very ready and extremely focused on moving the band forward with a new, more stable and permanent lineup for writing as well as touring.” Further adding that Pitruzella is an “amazing, talented and great guy”
Pitruzella will play live with the band for the first time this weekend as they currently tour for their tenth studio release Unborn.
Unborn is currently out through Metal Blade Records.
