Frontman Brennan Mileto comments on the song, “Don’t Give Up On Us” has been circling in my head for over 10 years and I knew I needed to get it out of my head. When we were in our home studio we reworked a verse from an old demo, and it came up a treat, and we knew it was something special that needed to go on the new album.
The song is about leaving a loved one to go pursue your dreams, whilst also trying to keep the love story alive against all odds. The song was inspired by us moving from our small town childhood home to the big smoke of the city, with the hardest part being leaving our loved ones behind. Even though this song is based around two people in love it also has another meaning, because when we did leave our home and moved states to pursue our rock n roll dreams everyone thought we were crazy, so this song is a cry out to them but also our critics because at the end of the day we wont give up, so “Don’t Give Up On Us”!
