Shallow Affect is a solo project by Dennis Boudet started in New Orleans, Louisiana in 2024.
The roots of the project span many years, culminating in the release of a 5-track EP titled Out With The Tide. Dennis played guitar, bass, synth and programming on all the tracks, but had some assistance when it came to recording the vocals. All music composition, lyrics and melodies, however, are by Dennis. In July 2025 the first single from the yet-to-be-titled new EP was released. Back In Your Cage embraces the cynical with some “tongue in cheek” quirkiness thrown in.
