Emily Lazar is a multi-disciplinary artist fronting the rock/metal transmedia project, September Mourning, who made history as the first female metal/ hard rock musician to mint and sell an NFT. In 2023, Emily was selected alongside noteworthy musicians and artists like Snoop Dogg, Beeple, Pussy Riot, Fvckrender and more to be featured in the documentary NFT WTF which is airing on Netflix UK now.
September Mourning is based on a comic book series she wrote and published through Image/Top Cow Comics (100k copies sold so far) with her business partner Marc Silvestri. Check out the latest single I Surrender below.
