Following the recent release of 1-800-Meltdown, available now via init Records, post hardcore outfit Season To Risk get ready to hit the road with today’s show in Kansas City’s Record Bar.
Commenting on the newest vinyl release, Steve Tulipana says: “This vinyl has our first new music in 25 years! “1-800-Meltdown” compiles this new music with rare and unreleased tracks, including our song “Undone” from our scene in the film “Strange Days” which was considered too noisy for the soundtrack. This record is more experimental and includes performances by all of the main band members who have played with us over the years, including the guys from Shiner.”
According to Tulipana, this year marks the start of the new wave of activity for Season To Risk, stating: “All this is happening with new releases coming every six months or so, both remasters and new music. We have killer line ups in every city with great local openers, mostly focused on noise rock, which is having a resurgence right now”.
