Written, recorded and performed entirely by San Diego solo artist, Scott O’Brien, Submission is a blazing new track which calls back to alternative rock and grunge of the 90s.
While his influences can be heard clearly in the track’s elements, the song builds on those influences and points to the future of grunge rock. The lyrics offer a reflective commentary on the pitfalls of our current society, while the hard-edged guitars and driving drums propel the song forward to a cathartic climax.
