Saviour Unveil New Single, Line-up & Tour

Share This:

Perth-based metalcore band Saviour have released their brand new single Lovers, the first taste of music from the group since they announced their return late last year. You can check out the song below as well as some upcoming tour dates.

Their debut album First Light to My Death Bed was released in October 2013 and they broke up soon after which sparked an outpouring of grief on social media. While everyone else hung up their instruments at the end of Saviour, frontman Bryant Best jumped straight into his new project I Am Zero and released the EP Darksky in 2015. Despite releasing new music, Saviour was at the forefront of Best’s mind, so he rallied up the crew and got the band back together.

We’ve been sitting around for half a year now reconstructing our sound,” says Best. “We have all grown since the release of our last album First Light to My Deathbed which was came out in 2013. It only makes sense that we would have evolved from then to now. With the addition of Shontay Snow as a permanent member, moving the soundscape in a lighter direction was inevitable. A big part of our music has always been the feel so everything we have created over the past six months has been written with that being the core element. And I think we are all super proud of how it is all sounding. Lovers is barely the tip of the ice berg for us.”
