Australia’s rising beach grunge outfit, Satin Cali, are setting fire to their past and diving headfirst into the future with their explosive new single, Burn the Ships, a track that embodies the fearless pursuit of something greater, without a safety net to fall back on. Inspired by the historic phrase that symbolises ultimate commitment, lead singer Zac Goluch explains,
“Burning the ships means making a difficult decision, whether it’s cutting ties with toxic people, leaving behind old habits or fully committing to something without looking back.”
That sentiment fuels the song’s raw energy, anthemic hooks and relentless drive, marking another standout moment for the band.

The band have been riding a huge wave in 2024, fresh off a huge set at Yours & Owls Festival and wrapping up a successful regional NSW tour. Now, they’re gearing up for their biggest hometown headline show at UOW Unibar Courtyard on Saturday, April 5th, a milestone moment in the band. April is stacked with massive live dates, including supporting UK rock legends FEEDER in Sydney at Manning Bar, plus shows in Port Macquarie and Coffs Harbour before bigger national and international touring announcements drop in the coming months.
