The R40 tour celebrating 40 years of drummer Neil Peart being in Rush appears to be the last time we will see them together as Rush, according to Drumhead Magazine via Jambase.
The 63 year old has not completely ruled out a solo project in the future but appears content as to where his career has taken him. The legendary Peart was the youngest member inducted into the Modern Drummer Hall Of Fame. In an interview with Drumhead Magazine he went on to explain “It does not pain me to realize that, like all athletes, there comes a time to… take yourself out of the game”
By some touted as the greatest of all time, it’s no shame to hang up the sticks while still such a revered character in the industry.
