Get ready for a night of unbridled energy and sonic assault as Rock Is Not Dead festival takes over The Brightside in Brisbane this weekend. This 8-band extravaganza promises to be an unforgettable experience, showcasing a diverse range of rock and hard rock acts that have you wanting more.

From Aria-nominated bands, to the best of the 80s and 90s covers, RIND bring independent bands from all around Australia. Don’t miss out on the opportunity to witness these talented bands perform live and loud!

LINEUP

Audio Reign (Headliner) -Aria-nominated band from SA, this band brings their unique blend of melodic rock and hard-hitting riffs to the stage. After touring with some of the globe’s biggest bands, AR return to Brisbane to kick ass.

Dead City Ruins – celebrating 10 years of their first album release, this 5-piece has toured extensively in Europe, and it was that which laid the platform for their gutsy hard rock.

Dtuned (DT) – Sydney-based supergroup. DT combined members of would Goblin, kicknixon, The Bleed, ALTimate Grunge and more, bringing a blend of originals, as well as killer covers from rock, hard rock and grunge.

Kalatone – With their atmospheric soundscapes and driving rhythms, this new band from the Gold Coast have shocked all who have seen them. From the insane bass riffs and amazing vocals, these guys will leave a lasting impression on the audience.

The Dreadful Tides – A dynamic rock band with catchy choruses and face-melting guitar solos. This band is in demand across Australia and is currently signed to multiple festivals.

Tailor Made Rejects: Edgy, alternative metal, wowing crowds at Munk and Petal as well as RIND 1. This band has become popular across Australia. They play their music hard and fast with raw emotion.

Whiskey on the Rox – Brisbane premiere 80s glam rock tribute show, this band brings fun, attitude and a reason to get up and headbang. Chart-topping hits played by an energetic and highly entertaining band.

Slythr – Young, incredibly talented individuals. Their musicianship and skills are far beyond their young ages. Gifted vocals and talent for days. They were the band on everyone’s lips after the first RIND festival and were the first invited back.
