Perth alternative metal rising star RinRin proves she’s one to watch with explosive new single Guns and Grenades. Releasing in time for her upcoming showcase at Bigsound 2022, the dystopian single is just the beginning for what’s in store for RinRin.
“Guns and Grenades” is about doing something you don’t want to but are forced to out of obligation, as is so often the case in war. “The song is not about taking sides or the political aspect of the war,” explains RinRin. “It’s for the people who don’t have any choice and are being used by politics: the fathers and brothers who should be with their families but have to stay to defend their country; Lovers who belong to opposing sides but have to fight each other because they have a duty to.”
