RED SEA Call It A Day With Farewell Show

Share This:

One of Sydney’s most engaging female-fronted heavy acts, RED SEA, are calling it a day after six wonderful years together.

From the beginning of the band’s previous incarnation Domino they made some line-up changes and transitioned into Red Sea, playing the Opera House as their debut Sydney showcase. Five national tours followed, with the first tour including a New Zealand stopover.

They went on to record two EPs and 2 standalone singles, and numerous video clip shoots. Standouts were international support shows with Hungarian band Tankcsapda on their Australian tour, a favourite of bassist Attila, himself a Hungarian native. As Attila stated on social media last week; “We’re not sad that it’s over but rather happy that it’s happened. You can catch us one last time on the 2nd of April at the Crowbar.”

Supporting Red Sea on their farewell show are groove-metallers CARBON BLACK, who will be launching their new single Under Order, which features former Judas Priest vocalist Tim ‘Ripper’ Owens, Victoria K. and Upside Down Miss Jane.
