Following on from the success of the Raising Ravens debut EP earlier this year which reached No 4 on the AIR Charts, new double single At The Mercy Of The Sky has been released through Interloper Records.
The epic animated lyric video for At The Mercy Of The Sky was created by US based motion designer Wayne Joyner (LA Guns, Devin Townsend, Dream Theater) and has premiered on Heavy Magazine.
Raising Ravens’ Jess Finlayson describes At The Mercy Of The Sky being about the human need for control and that we really don’t have any, so some gravitate towards religion as a means of explaining their lack of power and essentially having someone to blame for everything that goes wrong in life to avoid responsibility.
The release also features B-side track Lie To Me; both tracks recorded with long time collaborators – producer Lachlan Mitchell and mastered by Lord Tim.
