It has been confirmed that Rage Against the Machine are not reuniting. The reports suggest that members Tom Morello, Tim Commerford and Brad Wilk will be revealing a supergroup of sorts with members of Public Enemy and Cypress Hill. It is believed the new supergroup, which we assume is called Prophets of Rage, will perform their first shows early next month.
Sure, it’s cool and far more exciting than a new Babymetal album, but we just desperately want to see Zack de la Rocha fronting those guys. Rage Against The Machine last played together back in 2011, bassist Tim Commerford told Metal Hammer last year: “We still might play again. You never know what the future will bring.”
