Prepare For PISSING RAZORS

The Gloom In The Corner – Leaderboard
Listen to the interview below or on Spotify and iTunes Podcast:

In 2014 fans of Texan groove metal outfit Pissing Razors were given a real reason to celebrate – the band announced that they were re-forming after over a decade apart. Now in 2019 fans have been given a chance to grin even more. The band have announced that they have a new album on the way and Australian fans will get to see them live for the first time as they hit our shores with alongside Skinlab.

“We’re probably double as excited as they all,” says frontman Joe Rodriguez as HEAVY Mag chats to him about how excited their Australian fans are about the tour. “We had been talking about it over the past years before we disbanded and moved on to bigger and better things with family and stuff. We just never made it out there though, but now things are coming into fruition and stuff, especially with our friends from Skinlab, it is going to be nothing but a good ol’ party.”

“At this point in juncture we just wanted to be able to open up the avenues and just not hold back,” he explains when we ask why it was so important for them to make the trip down to Australia. “We didn’t want to just limit ourselves to a certain section of the world, you know? We just said whatever we can do to make it happen, there are people out there who want to see the band and on top of that and for us that chance to be able to see that we have been there and done that, we wanted to make that a priority – to go out there and hit you guys up – we wanted to show you guys our brand of music from south-west Texas.”
