Melbourne’s high-energy trio, XCalibre, have come storming back with their new anthem, Gravity (Through it All). A powerful anthem about resilience and perseverance, Gravity (Through It All) tells the story of navigating loss, confusion, and moments of doubt, yet finding the strength to rise again.
The lyrics explore the struggle of falling down but refusing to be defeated, holding on even when life feels heavy, and discovering hope and determination through adversity. Ultimately, it’s a celebration of inner strength and the unstoppable human spirit. The track also features Limp Bizkit’s DJ Lethal and Marcos Curiel of P.O.D.
On the collaboration and recording of Gravity, XCalibre frontman Dan Marazita says: “When I was first told by the XMusic team that we would be staying at Matt Sorum’s home and recording there with Marcos Curiel tracking guitars and DJ Lethal laying the programming, I thought it was a joke. It wasn’t until I arrived that it really felt real, and I immediately went into work mode. I remember tracking drums when Matt walked in and pulled a snare drum down from the wall—he said, “I used this one at Wembley with Guns N’ Roses, try this one.
Being in that environment, seeing the photos, and hearing the stories of these rock legends gave me even more inspiration. Learning from these incredible artists was an experience that will stay with me forever, and it truly shaped the energy and passion we poured into the recording.”
XMusic CEO Tim McLean-Smith adds; “XCalibre are back! With one of their biggest songs to date, with a LOT more to come from the new album, simply titled X. Stay tuned and enjoy the music as it’s infectious”.
