Brisbane metal machine Void Matter are not only dropping their latest music video, Wildfire, but the band is also readying for a run of dates, starting in Far North Queensland!
Lyrically Wildfire is about believing in yourself and feeding the fire inside to leave a scorch mark on the world. Sometimes people’s dreams or ambitions are discouraged by others around them, Wildfire says forget about those people, be whoever you want to be in this world. Go wherever you wanna go. Do whatever you wanna do. Don’t let that spark inside you ever extinguish. In a sentence – Believe in yourself and let your fire spread.
This song started out as a filler riff that the band didn’t expect to use anywhere, but the boys really liked the energy it had so they wrote this song just trying to harness that energy and give the people something to get them head banging and breaking shit.
