Premiere: TETRAMENT ‘Lifeless’

South East Queensland metal outfit Tetrament have unleashed the crushing video for their latest single Lifeless.

The track takes its roots lyrically from the band’s distaste for organised religion and the suffering this well-oiled machine has inflicted on humanity throughout history. Lyrically the song is short and sweet, avoiding the traps of delving too deeply into the nuts and bolts of the topic and ending up with a 19-minute mammoth that no one could be fucked to sit through.

There were a few choices when it came to which song was to become Tetrament’s debut single, with Lifeless winning out for a couple of reasons. Firstly, the band felt a shorter, heavy-hitting song that kicks the door off its hinges was a solid start to the campaign, and secondly, the location they had in mind to shoot the film clip was about to be demolished, making it a no brainer.

Lifeless is the first song to be lifted from Tetrament’s debut album, which will be revealed on November 11.
