Premiere: TERMINAL ZERO – “Far Away From Here”

Today we bring you a new song and video by Terminal Zero, “Far Away From Here“.

“Far Away From Here” is the first song since a line-up change with ex-Clone B and San Marcos frontman Matty Searle swinging the mic stand, “The dude has a massive set of pipes and owns the stage live. The first thing you notice when you listen to this track is that Matty is a very strong choice because the Warnock twins have clearly expanded their musical diversity and found more bounce – the new line up should have the limitless potential”.

Superheist’s founder and 2 times Aria nominated producer and mixer DW Norton, is once again at the helm “producing and mixing one of the best songs he’s done outside of Superheist’s own catalogue of hits”. So much so he encouraged Terminal Zero to send “Far Away From Here” to Dallas, Texas, the USA to the renowned Sam Striker, owner of Native Darkness Productions, for a monster mastering. Sam says in his own words “I had the pleasure of mastering this latest banger from Terminal Zero. These guys are true professionals. Working with them was a blast and I can’t wait to see what else they have in the works. Don’t sleep on them.”

The list of industry heavyweights involved in “Far Away From Here” doesn’t stop there. Like Thieves’ guitarist riff master and melodic genius Oden Johannson guest features on the track with a “massive impact melody line – “That chills the spine in the heavy intro and outro bookending this banger track”, Oden says. “The Terminal Zero guys sent me the track to have a listen and give them some feedback and I thought it sounded great. A guitar melody popped into my head pretty quickly so I shot it over to them just for the hell of it, turns out they thought it was cool and left it in the track. Very nice of them to include me!”

“To release a track like ‘Far Away From Here’ without a clip was never gonna happen”, according to guitarist Matt Warnock so they enlisted the multi-talented Richard de Silva from Involuntary Muscle and Superheist. The video was shot in their home town of Renmark where it all started for Terminal Zero; hence the title “Far Away From Here”. Richard has filmed and created artwork for QOTSA, Helmet and The Mark of Cain to list a few…
