Victorian power trio Requiem have released the crushingly brutal single Cruelty Of Time, taken from the band’s upcoming split LP with Adelaide powerhouse Shatter Brain, which will be released via Disdain Records on July 30.
Forged at Ghostnote Studios Adelaide in January 2021, and produced/mixed by Jack Hartley (Truth Corroded, Shatter Brain, Hidden Intent), the tracks showcase the band pushing the boundaries of their own sound, exploring new musical concepts with an emphasis on chaotic arrangements and massive riffs.
With a revised, razor sharp line-up and a new release under their belt, Requiem are primed and ready to bring these tracks into their energetic and mesmerizing live show. An Australian tour with Shatter Brain to promote the release throughout August and September 2021 will see both bands dominate stages nationwide together, crushing skulls wherever the road takes them.
