Scathing punk-rock and tongue-in-cheek sass collide on the new track A Simple Fuck You from Adelaide/Tarndanya trio Nocturnal_Animals, out on August 5.
Well-versed in producing high energy, angst-driven alt-rock/punk anthems, this is the group’s third new release this year, following the invigorating Where’s My Mind Been? and pop-punk dance-worthy belter Dancing In The Blood. They’ve just shared the stage with The Buoys in support of Psychedelic Porn Crumpets on the local leg of their album tour, have previously supported DZ Deathrays, and have also played to sold-out crowds in their hometown for four of their own headline shows.
Now, they’re hitting where it hurts with post-breakup bitterness, but in a way that just sounds so good, with the punchy A Simple Fuck You.
