Brisbane metal outfit Minus Life have been absent for too long.
After dominating the mid 2000’s with their aural assault that saw them supporting high profile touring bands and playing on this countries biggest music festivals Minus Life were the name on everyone’s lips.
Their debut album Eternal Urban Megacide was doing the rounds to unanimously favorable reviews and their live shows were infecting the ears and souls of a generation of metal fans in this country that were – until then – without meaning or direction.
Then, without warning, Minus Life disappeared from the airwaves and for more than 15 years have remained but a whisper in the memories of a nation proud of their metal warriors and yearning for a return to the glory days.
Minus Life are back to heed that call with a new album and single in tow.The band this week releases the track Order Disorder, a crushingly brutal reminder of their relevance and contribution to Australian metal.
Taken from their second album, Contorted Reality, which will be released on October 1, Order Disorder is a scathing reminder of Minus Life and their musical output.
As if one was needed.
