Gold Coast alternative/hard rock band KALATONE are releasing the official music video for Nostalgia, a song from their debut EP Pathways that has been an important part of the band since the very beginning. The song is about the pull of the past and how memories can stay with us, even when we’re trying to move forward.

The official video takes the idea behind Nostalgia and tells it through the story of a family looking back at the moments that changed their lives. The story moves backwards through time, gradually revealing the breakdown of a relationship and the effect it has on the family. It’s not intended to spell out every lyric or tell people exactly what the song means. Instead, the video takes the feeling behind the song — memory, loss, regret and being pulled back towards things you can’t change — and turns it into its own story.
