Southwest Sydney metalcore band Harroway are starting 2021 off heavy with a dark new single “Final Letter”.
This is the final single the guys will be releasing before the drop of their mixtape Bloom in a Dark Room which will be out on March 1, 2021.
Having teamed up with masters of their craft at Graphics Nature Audio (The Amity Affliction, Knocked Loose, Counterparts, Thy Art Is Murder) “Final Letter” flaunts heavier creative guitar work, punch you in the face vocals and beautiful catchy cleans.
The music video starts with a trigger warning as the song reflects upon vocalist Matt Banks’ battle with his mental health, suicide and the pain of losing loved ones. Matt explains that when he got sent the music to start writing vocals for it “I’d just come out of a very dark place in my life where I was contemplating killing myself every day. I’d become very isolated and nihilistic. I couldn’t find the joy in life. So the moment I listened to the demo I knew exactly what I need to write about and the lyrics, placements and chorus melodies started to flow instantly.”
