Melbourne rockers Chasing Lana have premiered their new single Light It Up, a song vocalist, songwriter and guitarist, Dave Cutting describes as a very ‘dark, emotional yet inspirational’ song lyrically.
Light It Up is about everyone who lives and fights every second of every day with their inner demons that are buried deep within. Fighting with their unwanted voices echoing in their head, urging them to just give in to the negative thoughts. But amongst all the darkness there is ALWAYS a glimmer of light.
It’s about finding the strength to speak up, reach out to friends, family and loved ones. It IS possible to rise above the darkness and ‘light it up’ to burn it all to the ground and unleash all of the pain inside.
