Sydney melodic metal powerhouse Besomora have released a new music video, Mass Starvation. to support their upcoming debut EP release.
Vlad Martynov (vocals/guitars) said on the new single, “The song was born at one of our rehearsals and I remember having those words in my head “Mass Starvation” after. As a history nerd I learn a lot about different cultures, their past and current affairs and there’s a subject that I was always fascinated about happening in the USSR when many crimes were conducted by the government towards its own people. Since that’s something, unfortunately, my family experienced during that mad time I’ve decided to write a song about it. When the lyrics were finished I said to myself “Damn, this is still relevant and happening across the world even now. What’s so amazing about our new single is that we approached Joe Haley from Psycroptic to participate on our song since we didn’t have a lead guitarist at that time and honestly, he did a brilliant job. It’s still one of my favorite solos on our upcoming EP.“
Besomora have already established themselves in the local metal scene as a force to be reckoned with, over their short existence playing a sold-out show alongside Be’lakor, Orpheus Omega, Andy Gillion (ex-Mors Principium Est) during their joint Australian tour, and shared the stage with well-known Australian bands, such as Psycroptic, Disentomb, Nicolas Cage Fighter and more.
With the countdown on until the EP is unleashed on the world, Besomora are coming out firing to build and improve on those efforts.
