Sunshine Coast metallers Awaken The Hate have officially signed with XMusic, marking the next step in the band’s journey. The first release via the label is the bands new single Fucked Up! which is featured on their forthcoming EP, Open Your Mind.
Fucked Up is a fast, no-brakes 2-minute thrash ripper inspired by the raw attitude of Motörhead and early Metallica.
The band add “It is about getting off your head, making dumb decisions, and embracing chaos for the hell of it. No deep message, no sermons, just a deliberate step away from Awaken The Hate’s usual seriousness. Pure piss-take energy, reckless fun, and a shot of old-school metal adrenaline.”
