Life Over Vices is the follow-up to Gold Coast metal outfit Awake In Time’s opening chapter of three singles, Panic. The second of three songs recorded through the covid period, Life Of Vices continues the heavy platform already established with another slab of brutality.
As a collective, the three tracks – the final of which will be released early next year – showcase a harder edge to Awake In Time’s sound that has firmly refined and toughened the band’s structure and DNA.
This year has already delivered plenty for Awake In Time, seeing them play alongside Australian legends such as Grinspoon, Bodyjar and The Butterfly Effect, with the highlight thus far being a leading slot on the Gold Coasts’ biggest musical extravaganza Wallapolooza.
They have toured extensively through QLD, Melbourne and Adelaide with Diskust and plan to finish the year off with a bang, setting the tone for an explosive 2023 that will be kickstarted by the release of the third and final single.
