Townsville based Indie/Punk Rockers Poison Oak are back again with the release of their anthemic new single Tell Me. The single is the second offering from their upcoming album release.
“Tell Me is a song about asking where someone has gone, not necessarily in a physical sense, but in a spiritual and mental sense,” the band said. “They’re present, but not the person they used to be. The song reflects on the struggles they have experienced, feeling trapped in a cycle of routine and disconnection within the suburbs, where everything looks familiar but feels empty. Dealing with the pressures of everyday life, like expectations from family or society, while facing internal struggles that others don’t see. Hence leaving them to be disconnected from who they once were.”
The band recently released their single and music video Wasted, which was the first offering from their forthcoming sophomore LP – recorded with Brock Weston (Bugs, Beddy Rays, Dune Rats).
