The bedroom prog-wizard Plini started out 2016 with a string of sold-out headline shows in Sydney and Melbourne, before touring around North America with Intervals. The two now join forces on Australian soil. Plini is currently touring across Europe with Animals As Leaders on a six-week summer festival and club tour.
Plini is bringing to life material from his forthcoming album, Handmade Cities, which will be released on 26 August 2016. Audiences will be taken on a musical journey of surprise and delight that will stir happiness in the heart of any fan of guitar-playing, prog, metal, fusion or post-rock. He will treat crowds to an evening of progressive music performed with some of Australia’s finest young musicians — including drum-sensation Troy Wright and Jake Howsam Lowe and Simon Grove of Sydney shredders The Helix Nebula.
