Playing the Game with NEW CLEAR VISION

Share This:

New Clear Vision have been plying their trade-in and around Brisbane for a few years now, but with the release of new single ‘Game of Life’ on Friday, December 13, the boys are set to take things to the next level.

Drummer CJ Nash sits down with HEAVY to talk more about the song plus other happenings in the New Clear Vision camp.

“Musically, it’s pretty heavy compared to some of the other stuff we’ve done,” CJ measured.

“I think the topic is a bit more where we’re at as a band and how we view a lot of things. It’s the first song we wrote as a new band with this line-up. We got Matt Doust (guitar) in at the latter part of last year and the dude has fit in like a glove. We were jamming on a couple of riffs and then the song came together really quickly which was awesome. We’ve been sitting on it for a while. It’s pretty heavy and about shit people in society and how people fall slave to the system without really realising it. It’s a pretty slamming song; we’re proud of it and we hope everyone else enjoys it too”.

In the full interview, CJ goes into greater depth on ‘Game of Life’ including the title, the different genres within the song and how they reflect on the overall sound of New Clear Vision, the artwork, album plans, upcoming shows and more.
