Australian-based metalcore outfit Patient Sixty-Seven have signed with SBG Records, marking a major new chapter for one of the scene’s most compelling and community-driven bands. To celebrate the signing, the Perth, Australia natives have released their new single A Stitch In Time Saves None, featuring Telle Smith of The Word Alive.
A Stitch In Time Saves None showcases the band continuing to push their sound forward while maintaining the emotional intensity that has defined their work. Featuring Telle Smith, the track adds another dimension to Patient Sixty-Seven’s already dynamic approach to modern metalcore and represents the beginning of an exciting new chapter for the band. Vocalist Tom Kiely was kind enough to share some insight into the meaning behind A Stitch In Time Saves None:
“Wrote this song when I was at the absolute bottom of the barrel, broken, out of answers. I became so desperate within myself to find something to hold onto, the only thing I had left was to write. I was using every single day until I quietened the noise in my head and it didn’t seem to matter anymore what that meant.
This song captures that feeling of inevitably – no matter what I do – I’m not going to find a way forward. I was always going to end up here, completely broken and without a purpose.”
What could make a release day even better? Officially announcing Patient Sixty-Seven have been signed by SBG Records, crushing yet another impressive milestone. Accomplishing huge moments like joining the SBG family and supporting Of Mice & Men for their headline Australian tour would have to cement 2026 as a year they won’t forget.
Commenting on signing to SBG Records, Tom added: “It’s honestly so amazing to have signed to SBG, it’s a label we have loved for many years and we believe we are going to make a great team together.”
