Ozzy and Corey Taylor are inviting fans to a ‘special announcement’ this Thursday, May 12 at the Palladium in Hollywood. Blabbermouth have speculated that the announcement may have something to do with this year’s edition of Ozzfest and Knotfest, with the two festivals possibly joining forces to form one huge event this fall in the U.S.
Last year Knotfest, the creation of Slipknot, attracted over 50,000 fans to just their third annual event. Ozzfest hasn’t been the huge commercial success it was ten years ago, but it still has the credibility, and joining these two awesome festivals together should take them both to a whole new level.
