Overtire comes from Des Moines, Iowa and are currently planning the release of their second upcoming EP Empty Heads, which will be available to stream from February 23 on all platforms. It will include Salt Lick as well as four other original tracks.
Empty Heads will expand upon the sounds and ideas established in the first release, Symbiosis. Grunge, groove, aggression – all of these themes are prevalent in the sonic sensation that is Overtire. They are often compared to classic nü metal projects such as Coal Chamber but with a more modern feel. Overtire falls onto the slower end of the spectrum, with a strong focus on grunge aesthetics and sensibilities.
