Queensland’s longest running heavy music and arts festival Dead of Winter has just dropped another 15 hard-hitting acts on top of what already is a ridiculously solid day of proceedings come Saturday July 13 at The Tivoli and Jubilee Hotel in Brisbvegas.

Celebrating ten years since its inception, every aspect of the much-loved and independent annual event will be levelled up in 2019, bringing punters the largest Dead Of Winter bill ever assembled with 61 bands and 4 sideshow acts featured over 6 stages, including the massive Tivoli main stage and two outdoor truck stages.

After sold out 2017 and 2018 events, both scoring a 94% satisfaction rate amongst attendees, the 2019 edition has today added a third artist announcement featuring Blowhard, in what will be a fitting tribute for recently deceased Brisbane front man and scene leader Brentyn ‘Rollo’ RollasonKyuss Dies! a Kyuss tribute featuring the former Kyuss/QOTSA bassist Nick Oliveri himself alongside members of Dead Letter Circus, The Butterfly Effect, The Black Armada and The Royal Artillery in what will be one of the most anticipated sets of the festival.  Sydney thrust machines Rick Dangerous and the Silkie Bantams join the bill alongside veteran Brisbane Bovver Rock act Shandy, Perth Soundwave/Big Day Out feature act Chaos Divine, New Zealand Inudustrial/Dubstep genre benders Kaosis, Triple J backed groove merchants Fight Ibis, Sydney heavy crew Wraith and local emerging acts Crave Death, Radolescent, Piston Fist, Nowhere Else, Serial Killer Dinner Party, Blue Savannah Underworld and Void Matter.

The third announce bands will join the likes of Cog, Disentomb, Mammal, Bodyjar, 28 Days, Aversions Crown, Beatswars (NZ), Voyager, Svetlanas (RUS), The Go Set, Hits and many more in what has become Brisbane’s largest heavy music and arts festival, transforming the Tivoli and Jubliee into heavy music and horror fantasy-lands filled with outer-worldly visual effects, dark art displays and kinky sideshows.

Dead of Winter returns to Brisbane on Saturday July 13 across numerous stages at The Tivoli and Jubilee Hotel in Brisbane’s Fortitude Valley.  General tickets are available through Oztix and Ticketmaster with full festival information and ticket links at  www.deadofwinterfestival.com.  The much-anticipated festival has sold out the last two years in a row… so get in early!
