Mundi Mundi Bash 2024 is underway, with Thursday seeing the official opening day, which was dominated by live music.
Now officially recognised as the largest outback music festival in the country with approaching 14,000 punters, Mundi Mundi this year boasts bands like Baby Animals, Jon Stevens, The Living End and more, with an all encompassing environment punctuated by a natural beauty only the outback can offer. And while most music festivals in this country rely on the drawing power of international bands to survive, Mundi Mundi remains committed to our own back yard with the entire line-up comprising only Australian bands. And still selling out.

HEAVY was invited for the very first time to join in the festivities, and who are we to knock back the chance to mix with the locals? Oh yeah, and they wanted us to speak to some of the bands, One of those was legendary frontman Richard Clapton, who we caught up with early on Friday.
