In the waning light of 2024, a new force emerged from the Swedish frostbitten soil – Odjur. Like the northern winds whisper forgotten tales, this melodic death metal band channels the raw, untamed spirit of the Nordic wilds.
Forged by a brotherhood, Hati (Gustaf, guitar/bass) and Garm (Peter, vocals) were drawn together by a shared vision, blending haunting melodies with crushing riffs, crafting soundscapes both brutal and beautiful. Their music is forged in frost and fire – where sorrow meets fury, and every note is a call to the wild. With wolves lurking in the shadows Odjur invites all to step into their universe. Their mission is clear: to spread the fire of Nordic metal across the world.
In May 2026, Odjur returned with End of Days, a dark, uncompromising metal anthem about a world descending into total chaos, with the inevitable end drawing closer. Crushing guitar riffs, ferocious growls, and relentless drums and bass drive the track forward beneath a burning sky, creating a bleak and apocalyptic atmosphere from start to finish.
