Following on from the release of their newest album Screamnasium in late 2022, we take you back to the very beginning with the first ever track penned by O.R.k.
Taken from O.R.k’s debut release Inflamed Rides (2015), Pyre shares a sentimental space in the band’s heart. Aside from being the first song that the band completed together, it was also the first track that the world heard from the then new outfit. Pyre, along with the rest of the Inflamed Rides album benefits from an updated remix and remaster, and a long overdue reissue on both CD and limited edition blue vinyl.
The video, created by Nanà Oktopus Dalla Porta of Oktopus Productions allows space for an ambiguous interpretation, but is centralised around the theme of anonymity and the need to question the ideals of both leaders and followers, whatever their ideologies may be.
