Australia’s heavy trailblazers Northlane have debuted their new single Plenty, the next offering lifted from their forthcoming album, Obsidian, out April 1 via Believe. The band have also expanded their June headline run, adding extra shows in Sydney and Melbourne to meet demand.
One of the more classic Northlane-sounding tracks on Obsidian, Plenty is a bleak look at forsaking reincarnation, with its perplexing time-signature bookending a delicately soaring chorus. As frontman Marcus Bridge wrestles with the idea of another go at life, the sentiment will stay with you long after the final breakdown fades away.
