The No Life Til Leather DJs are putting their best glam faces on to celebrate the career of Motley Crue. Friday, 13th of March will see DJ Colonel Knowledge and The Sultan of Sin reunite to pay tribue to one of the baddest bands to ever crawl out of the gutter.
Motley Crue recently announced they’ll be tripping once more ‘round the globe in a final world tour. That final tour will see the band land in Australia this May, but before we’re front and centre with the real deal, Sydney’s best ‘80s glam, hard rock and metal night club will celebrate the musical achievements of Nikki Sixx, Tommy Lee, Mick Mars and Vince Neil.
For those who come early, the first 10 payers will get a copy of the 30th anniversary reissue of Judas Priest’s Defenders Of The Faith CD.
There’ll be metal videos playing on the big screen, there’ll be spandex, there’ll be leather, there’ll be cod pieces, there will be hangovers. And it’s all happening at a new venue – downstairs at the Civic Hotel, cnr of Goulburn and Pitt Streets in the city.
And if you’re looking for more than Motley Crue, the DJs will be spinning everything from Megadeth, Tesla to Testament, Poison to Pretty Boy Floyd, Warrant to Winger and all those giant haired/big anthemed bands that the ‘80s were famous for.
